Our names are Dianne and Mike, and we reside in Tonbridge, Kent. Which is in the South East of England. My wife Dianne was born, bred and raised in Newcastle, NSW, Australia and has lived in the UK since our marriage in 1984.
Although my wife continues to work, I retired 5 years ago, at the age of 56, after completing 39 years in the tyre industry, with a subsidury of the Michelin Tyre Company.
We are both keen cruisers and now, we generally only cruise with Princess and Fred Olsen Cruise Line. My first cruise was in 1970 and have around 45 sailings to my name. Dianne has done around 28 cruises. We are joining the Grand Princess on April 25th on a Med adventure and the Balmoral on Aug 16th for a Historical Baltic cruise. We have been members of the Cruise Critics and Cruise.com clubs for a few years and find that they are sources of a wealth of information, as hopefully the U.C.Vac site will be. If we can be of any help to any of you, just leave us a message.
I am Linda and my DH is Wayne. We live in Florida, about 2 hours north of Port Canaveral. I want to also thank you for the friend requests. I think this website will go over really well with cruisers once they find out about it.
Hope to chat with everyone and Happy cruising to all.
Welcome aboard fellow cruisers Mike and Dianne from the UK and Linda and Wayne from Florida. We really like the layout of this site and meeting others who share our passion for sea cruises.
Hello, My name is Pamela and I am from Clearlake Ca which is the largest natural lake in California. I am retired and I am an artist. I enjoy Cruising and meeting people and painting the many places I visit.
Located in Pennsylvania, just south of Philadelphia
My wife is Susan, we are both avid cruisers, plus we enjoy camping, Timeshare resorts, Nascar, etc etc
We are both proud members of the CoCoNuT Monkeyheads on Carnival connections
We just completed a B2B onboard the Carnival Freedom ( Jan 31st thru Feb 14th )
It was a nice long 6 week extended vacation away from the cold & winter up here
We did 2 of our TS's - one in Orlando - the other just outside of Ft Lauderdale ( Weston ) as pre-cruise stops - then upon our return we did one in Daytona beach - then the last stop was N Myrtle beach SC on our way home
Our next cruise is on the Carnival Miracle - Sept 5th outta Manhattan
We went out last yr about the same time and tapped danced with Hurricane Hanna
Had white caps in the hudson river on the way out & 25ft seas once we started heading south - the following day All was Good and so was the balance of the cruise
I have a link on my page that has pics of the pre-cruise stays & the B2B
