No Way!!! hahahaha

BUT... there are NO "Carb Police" so everyone must eat according to their conscience!  Also, many people bring family members or friends who are NOT on a diet, so there are no set rules about all of that.  Also, the cruise line does NOT do a special menu... BUT there are enough choices available to eat WELL, and stay "Low Carb".  I mean, where else can you eat lobster and steak every night?

They also offer a low-carb cheesecake and real ice-cream made with splenda... so it's not so hard to do.

We changed the date to March 1st because it is $100 cheaper to sail 14 days earlier!! ;)  AND fewer "spring break" kiddos probably!

LoL,

We started our "diets" back in Apr 08, for our first cruise in Nov 08 (30th Anniversary).  This way we did not have to worry about carbs, fat, etc., etc., etc., while we were on the cruise.  We tried everything and had a great time and no regrets....

Now that we've been doing this for almost a year....we may "fine tune" it a bit, so we can "ignore" our diets once again on our Nov 09 cruise on the Spirit.

Carnival Elation - 30th Anniversary Cruise (Nov 08)

Carnival Spirit - 31st Anniversary and Cruising With Friends (Nov 09)

On Our "Bucket List:"

- Alaska

- Hawaii

- Carribean

- Mediterranean

Is that funny? hahaha

I sort of do the same thing.  I mean there are some GREAT die-hards who are able to stick to their diet the entire time.

BUT I suppose I'm a "good" food addict thought, because i always fall off the wagon on the cruise.

I diet so I can cruise.

I cruise so I can eat.

hahahahaha

Well....they do have the gym and spa on the ship and we will be doing a lot of walking.....soooooooo....I would say we are JUSTIFIED should we "fall off the wagon" and indulge ourselves during our vacation.  Let's be honest, that is what vacations are for, to have FUN, right?

I'm tellin' ya... we could make millions.  The "Cruise" diet with a tangible reward! hahahaha

It is the only "goal reward" that works for me.  I gain & lose throughout the year, but for the last 3 cruises I have been 5 pounds thinner EVERY year than I was the previous year.  It's kind of a fun "marker".

.... with that said.

Tomorrow I have a doctor's appointment to officially kick of the new "diet".

'Scuse me folks, I'm in "CRUISE TRAINING" now.
