Hey cruisers!

Any of you contemplating to take a cruise around the world?

My better half and me sometimes dream of cruising for months in a row, seeing a bit of the world here and there, and coming back with a head full of impressions and maybe a couple of thousands pictures (Long Live the DELETE Button!)

What would be the pros and cons (not of "hitch hiking", ha ha - great song, by the way) of such a world tour? The really enthusiastic cruisers amongst you would probably say: the cruising itself. The onboard experience... But is that all? In that case you can cruise up and down from Fort Lauderdale to, say, Cozumel... ;) For months in a row...

Getting to know the passengers on board real well?

Getting impressions of so many ports of call?

Or maybe a world tour is not that interesting at all?

It would just be possible if you have enough money and enough time; and we have neither, so we keep on dreaming... How about you??
