How formal is formal? (we're on Carnival Glory) long gown, tux/suit? party dress and nice shirt and slacks?

Can we takes our own snorkle and dive gear?

Someone said take a multiplug but someone else said no transformers, were they meaning power strips?

Can we take our own snacks as I am sensitive to sugar?

I do not have a passport nor do I have time to get one before we lvea, will my military ID, drivers license and birth certificate card work?

is there a swimsuit etiquette? Should I wear a cover up everywhere I go?

How likely is it that we will get a room upgrade? Our agent said our room was a less desired room, 8th floor directly under the long side extended window where they control the ship.

Is parking for our vehicle covered or do we pay for 7 days of parking?

how early should we show up before boarding?

is there internet/wi-fi on board?

is there an easy way to find other young couples on board? We are 26 years old with no children but we have fun at a 21 year old level. but in a mature manner when needed.lol

and anything else you think we would need to know would be great!!!

A long gown is fine or a Pants Suit. Dress shirt and tie dress slccks and jacket or dress shirt without a tie and jacket or no jacket.

Yes

Take a Power strip.

Yes you can.

Passports will be required on or after March 6, 2010 on Panama Canal cruises and Western Caribbean cruises calling in Roatan. I'd suggest you get a passport. You can have it expedited for an additional fee. In the unlikely event you get sick or injured on the cruise and require hospitalization, when you re-enter the US by air, you will definitely need a passport. Call Carnival to make sure the forms of ID you mentioned are acceptable.

Nothing too revealing. You can wear a cover up if you wish.

It depends on how quickly the ship sells out. Get the upgrade before sailing.
Is parking for our vehicle covered or do we pay for 7 days of parking?
No, parking is extra. At the Port of Miami, it's $20 per day.
how early should we show up before boarding?
At least 90 minutes before sailing for the latest. Try boarding around 2 PM for faster check-in.
is there internet/wi-fi on board?
Yes, but the hi speed internet on cruise ships is slow because of the Satellite connection.

Lounge shows, any place with a large gathering and you notice young couples.

There is the Emerald Steakhouse which is an alternative dining venue onboard. There's a $30 per person cover charge which includes the wait staff gratuity. It's well worth the extra $60 in my view. Bar service such as wine, liquor, soda and bottled water are not included in the cover charge. If you choose to try this dining venue, you can request a table anytime between 6:00 PM and 9:30 PM. Requesting a table two weeks prior to sail date is recommended. Allow 21/2 hours for your dining experience.

Spa treatments are not included in your cruise fare. However, use of the Gym is included with the exception of aerobics, yoga and Pilates classes.

All alcoholic drinks, sodas and bottled water in your stateroom will cost you.

Shore excursions, photos, internet packages are not included in your cruise fare.

ok, Thank you.

We seem to be confused about passport. Our cruise is a closed loop cruise however, Honduras is not on the list of closed loop document regulations and our travel agent said no passport was needed. I am extremely worried and not sure who I contact to be 100% sure.

I have military ID, drivers license and birth certificate card. My husband has a passport.

I'd suggest you apply for a passport on your return from this upcoming cruise, if you don't apply for an expedited passport before sailing, and I hope all goes well.

Keep in mind,  if you have to be removed from the ship because of injury or sickness to a hospital in a foreign port, you must  have a valid passport to re-enter the US by air after being discharged from the hospital.

Btw, I'm also a travel agent, and I get this question all the time.

Just found this on Carnival's website:

You know what I find sad about these questions?  That your travel agent is competent to answer them.  Even if the agent doesn't know the answer, they should have researched it completely and given you all the answers.
