Hello, I'm Jen. My husband is a Naval Officer and I Drag Race professionally. This will be our first cruise... together. My husband had taken a cruise when he was 14 however, he remembers nothing. We lived in Hawaii for almost four years and that was vacation enough for us, until now. We are going on the Carnival Glory, we just booked it three days ago, when we suddenly decided to go. We ship out (That's what we call it in the Navy.lol),on the Carnival Glory, on March 7th to Cozumel,MX; Belize City, BZ; Roatan,HN; & Grand Cayman.
AM I allowed to ask questions here? lol. I have a ton. About taking our own snorkle and dive gear. How formal is the formal dinner? etc. etc. Did I mention how extremely excited I am? My husband has lived on the USS Nimitz but I have never sailed out on a ship so I am hoping I will not get motion sickness as our stateroom (balcony) is supposedly in a less desirable location. Our travel agent said they may upgrade for us, is this true?
I would love, and appreciate, any travel tips you may have!
one last note: I do not have time to get a passport however, I do have military ID, two drivers licenses, and my birth certificate card, will this work? Our agent said it would.
