We used the internet when we were on Monarch of the Seas in September. It was so slow that it was close to useless! With a 90 minute plan we managed to do the same amount of work as we could do in about 10 minutes from home.

They are also identifying each individual computer, so because we both were logged on to our account, we only got 45 minutes each.

The Carnival ships we have been on have actually had pretty fast connections and when we both were logged on to the same account, it would not count the minutes per computer.

My cruises:
Carnival Fantasy 9/7/06 Nassau/Half Moon Cay, Cabin V26, 4 nights
Carnival Inspiration
3/17/07 Grand Cayman/Calica, Cabin R132, 5 nights
Sovereign of The Seas
12/21/07 Nassau/Cococay, Cabin 8568, 3 nights
Carnival Glory
6/14/08 Cozumel/Belize/Roatan/Freeport, Cabin 6481, 7 nights
Carnival Liberty 5/30/09 Ocho Rios/Grand Cayman/Roatan, Cabin 8229, 7 nights
Monarch of The Seas
09/21/09 Nassau/Cococay, Cabin 5529, 4 nights
Majesty of The Seas
06/14/10 Key West/Nassau/Cococay, Cabin 9506, 4 nights
Carnival Legend 10/03/10 Grand Cayman/Cozumel/Roatan/Belize, Cabin 5181, 7 nights
Freedom of the Seas 11/28/10 Labadee, Haiti, Cabin 9489, 4 nights

I would recommend what I plan on doing when we go to Alaska & that is take advantage of free wi-fi  & how do you know where to go pray tell-here's where you find them:JiWire
Once there type in the name of the city/port you'll be in & Voila a list of free wi-fi hotspots appears In Juneau for instance the public library has free wi-fi & it is right by the docks. I'm a photographer by hobby & plan to use these free wi/fi hotspots to upload my days photos onto my flickr & facebook pages. You can use that link as I said for ANY city/port Worldwide
