I have read on different boards about the difference in the food quality between RCCL and Carnival.   For me the food in RCCL as always been a cut above CCL food, but my DW prefers CCL food. Not that I don't like CCL food. . .in fact we are going on CCL Ecstasy 10/25/10 again and this time I am going to take photos of the nightly menu, the food I order and give a rating on it.

I do know from reading other posts, CCL has switched meat supply companies. They now use a company in Minnesota that is rated highly for quality. The poster said his son is the head meat cutter there and CCL accounts for more than 30% of their business.

I want to try two beef orders to validate the beef quality of CCL. The prime rib and the rib eye steak. That will tell me if the quality has improved and compare against RCCL beef. Will post accordingly
