Have not sailed on Dream. Met a few passengers from the Dream in Costa Maya. I asked them what ship they were sailing. They said quote "Carnival Nightmare" Of course that is the Dream. Can not comment more.

dramirez0023 I have not sailed on the Dream but have not any bad things maybe I haven't been paying attention. I have sailed on Carnival before 3 times and I liked it. It depends on what you like to do you can be as busy as you want to be or as laid back as you want. I would love to go on the Dream if I get the chance. Most cruises are what you make of them. So just enjoy yourself and don't look for problems. I have been on 5 cruises and loved everyone. Enjoy your self.
I have not sailed on the Carnival Dream. I have sailed on 9 other Carnival Cruises and loved them all. I agree with comment above.... don't look for problems.... go and enjoy yourself. You are on vacation!
You can see from our past cruise history we have sailed Carnival several times. Have had no bad experiences and you should have the same experience on the Dream. In fact, we are considering booking the Carnival Magic T/A in Oct 2011 Barcelona to Galveston (if our ship comes in in the next 6 months )
Galveston, TX will port the Magic and the Triumph year round starting in Nov 2011 so CCL will be our ships of choice. I would say about the Dream, GO FOR IT! Come back and post your review.

The issue I have seen in several of the reviews are long lines at the buffet and theater. Some people have mentioned that it's like they have built a larger ship with many more cabins, but "forgot" to expand the public areas as well.
I wouldn't let those issues bother me at all. Just go and have a great vacation and don't forget to come back and let us know how everything was.

Hi! We are sailing the Dream November 6th. Really looking forward to it. I've read the same reviews. I try to not read into the negative. Everyone can find something wrong to focus on if they want to. No matter what. So, relax, have a great time and you have a BLAST! We can compare notes after our cruises. :-)

"We had 4600 people on our sailing last week and the only time I noticedthem all was at lunch on sea days. Like everyone has said... go to theGathering early or late, not at prime time, and there is no reason youcan't have your choice of whatever you want. Don't wait til 11 to get achair in Serenity... get to shows a little early to make sure you get aseat. You'll be fine."
