Went to Key West first for 3 days then the cruise.

How did I book?:
We always look online and then call our travel agent and tell her to book it.....

Did I get a good price?:
Yes because we always have cruise rewards and other discounts.

How was my trip to the port?:
Horrible, we had a rental car and drove into Miami from Key West the day the ship sailed and almost missed it trying to find the Dollar Rent a Car Hotel by the port(not). Never again and would not suggest it for anyone else.

Embarkation/Debarkation:
Yes, considering we did not get to the port until 3:20 it went well. They got ahold of our Butler to come and get us.

The ship:
It is very elegant and having our concierge right out side our door all the time is wonderful, you don't have to go searching for them all the time.

Cabin:
Not impressed they are way too small. The Courtyard Villa 2 bedroom suite is probably 100-200 square feet smaller than the older versions. The childrens bedroom is set up much better with alot more storage but the rest of us suffer from the smaller areas.

Dining:
We ate mostly in our own restaurant, but did try all the communal restaurants that don't charge and liked the food, but the tables don't have table cloths on them and the staff leaves alot to be desired. We also ate at Cagneys which we always do when we cruise(usually a couple of times) but it was not good at all, there again no table clothes and not as elegant as usual.

Entertainment:
Yes, we enjoyed all the entertainment we went to such as: Blue Man Group, Cirque and Mystery Dinner. The magician was ok.

Ports & Excursions:
My husband rented segways and 4 wheelers and thoroughly enjoyed himself. We ladies just did town tours and they were fine. Don't waste your time on the bird zoo in the bahamas it was not worth it at all.

Overall Experience:
We think this is just over rated and for what you pay for it we will not do it again.

I hope you at least had a good time in Key West :) I love that place... Where is the bird zoo located? In Nassau?
