In all the years I have enjoyed cruise vacations, I have never seen low cruise prices like they are right now. I was shopping around yesterday, for my next cruise, and found 4 days Bahamas cruises on Norwegian Sky for only $99!! This cruise is departing from Miami and it is spending the 1st day at sea, the 2nd day it will be at Nassau, Bahamas, and the 3rd full day at Great Stirrup Cay in Bahamas.
It sure looks like Norwegian Sky is hit hard by the bad economy and have problems selling out, and I guess a $99 cabin income + the passenger spending onboard is better for Norwegian Cruiseline than sailing with an empty cabin.
I doubt this price will last and I will probably go for it, and get my tickets before they go up again.
