It is only a story you could imagine. The horror of falling off once cruise ship to be rescued by the friendly Disney Wonder. But it happened just this morning
Coast Guard says a man fell from the Carnival Sensation late Wednesday night off the coast of South Florida near Port St. Lucie. Both cruise ships leave Port St. Lucie for short excursions in the area. The man wasn't on a Disney Cruise ship when he left the port but he was sure glad to see the cruise ship when it rescued him this morning around 4am.
The Disney Cruise Ship heard the call for help and found the gentleman treading water. Pulling him into the cruise ship and completing the rescue.
Unfortunately, there is no word on the condition of the man rescued, his name or how long he was left at sea before being discovered. More details to be released as soon as they become available.
A passenger aboard the Sensation said the man could be heard arguing with a woman.
"He
threatened to jump, and she said, 'Go ahead,' and he did," said Marie
McDonald, who was vacationing from New York. "Then we heard the man
screaming, 'Help! Help!"'
