Born and raised in Chicago and its suburbs. Moved to Texas (Dallas) in 1997 to fulfill a dream to move to Texas. Didn't feel Dallas was Texas enough for me and moved to Austin. Co-owner of a small ranch raising horses and cattle about 60 miles SE of Austin, TX. The recent drought has reduced the livestock significantly, but we have intentions to build back up as the weather cooperates. Have a day job in Austin to put food on the table. It's a long commute, but well worth getting out of the city to the peace, quiet and dark at home every day.
